New York State counties are required by State Civil Service Law to properly manage and track Civil Service employments throughout local municipalities. Burdened by a cumbersome manual paper process, Orange County has successfully leveraged CRM technology to reduce workloads and facilitate reporting.

SOLUTION

Aeon Nexus employed Microsoft Dynamics CRM to develop a comprehensive Human Resources Tracking Application that properly tracks Civil Service positions, employee data, and historical employment information. Through tightly integrated dashboards and comprehensive reports, County Staff are able to quickly find, update, and extract the information that is needed to comply with Civil Service Law. Quarterly salary audits have also been streamlined through dynamically generated Excel documents that are updated by each municipality and automatically imported into the system. This has eliminated weeks of manual updates as previously required.
